Getting Connected

Follow the steps below to connect your EDGE 4 PRO SOLAR camera for the first time.

Step 1 Download the Moultrie App

Download the Moultrie app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and sign in to your account, or create a new one.

Step 2 Activate Your Camera

In the app, tap the + icon to add a new device.

Scan the QR code on your camera label or enter the Modem ID manually.

Follow the on-screen instructions to select a subscription plan and activate your device.

Step 3 Install the Battery Pack & Power On

Ensure the PG-2284 rechargeable battery pack is fully charged via USB-C before installing.

Insert the battery pack into the camera and switch the power to ON.

Step 4 Connect

Once powered on, the camera will begin searching for a signal. Press the Connect button to trigger a manual connection attempt.

The yellow Connecting light will flash. Once connected, the green Connected light will briefly illuminate before all lights cycle off.

Check your app — your first image or test connection should appear within a few minutes.

Tips

Make sure you are in an area with good cellular coverage.

The entire activation and first connection process should take 5 minutes or less.

If you see the red Not Connected light, move the camera to a location with stronger signal and try again.
