Troubleshooting
If your camera will not power on, follow the steps below to resolve.
Step 1: Check the Rechargeable Battery Pack
Confirm the rechargeable battery pack (PG-2284) is fully inserted and seated correctly.
Charge the pack via USB-C using a wall outlet before re-inserting.
Do not use AA batteries; the EDGE 4 PRO SOLAR uses only the included rechargeable pack.
Step 2: Check Solar Panel & Placement
Ensure the integrated solar panel is not obstructed by shade, debris, or dirt.
Position the camera so the solar panel faces the sky with minimal shading for best charge maintenance.
Step 3: Inspect the Battery Compartment
Remove the battery pack and inspect the contact points for corrosion, damage, or debris.
Clean contacts with a dry cloth if needed.
Re-insert the pack firmly and power ON.

All sides of the camera, including the battery compartment (contact points must be clearly visible).
Please record a short video and include the following:
Inserting the rechargeable battery pack.
The full power-on sequence (any lights/indicators that appear).
