EDGE 4: Connecting but Not Receiving Pictures

Note: This article is for cameras that ARE connecting (last connection within 25 hours) but not uploading photos. If your camera hasn't connected at all, see "Hasn't Connected in Over 25 Hours" instead.

1.  Try a New Location

Move the camera to a spot with a clearer view of the sky. Avoid: dense tree canopy, metal structures, or locations near high-voltage power lines.

2.  Check Daily Test Image (DTI) Setting

If you rely on DTI to confirm uploads:

  • Go to camera settings in the app and confirm Daily Test Image is ON.
  • After enabling it, allow up to 72 hours for the first test image to appear.

3.  Monitor for 24–48 Hours

After relocating, leave the camera in place and watch for uploads to resume over 24–48 hours before taking further action.

4.  Change Upload Interval

If uploads are still being missed after 48 hours:

  • Temporarily change your upload interval to a different schedule (e.g., 6-hour instead of 24-hour).
  • Leave it for 24 hours, then switch back.
  • Still missing? Reach out this may need backend diagnostics.
