Troubleshooting
If your Feeder Hog Light is not working as expected, please follow the troubleshooting steps below.

Check Light Conditions:
- The Feeder Hog Light will only illuminate in dark conditions. If testing during the day, it may not turn on.

Verify the Operating Mode:
The light must be set to an appropriate mode:
- ON: Turns on in dark conditions and stays on until daylight.
- DUSK: Turns on in dark conditions and stays on for 2 hours.
- MOTION: Turns on in dark conditions when motion is detected and stays on for 5 minutes.

Check Brightness Setting:
- Ensure the brightness is not set to LOW if a stronger output is needed.
- Switch to HI to verify the light’s visibility.

If Using an External Power Source:
- Ensure the Hog Light is properly connected to the external power accessory.
- Important: Internal AA batteries must still be installed, even when using external power.
- Use only standard Alkaline batteries — do not use rechargeable batteries.

If Not Using External Power:
- Ensure fresh, non-rechargeable Alkaline batteries are installed correctly.

Monitor the Device:
- After verifying the settings and power source, test again in complete darkness to confirm functionality.
