- If you have a weak signal, moving your feeder to an area with a stronger signal can improve battery usage significantly.
- Once in a new location and the unit connects again, you will be able to verify the updated signal strength for signs of improvement.
- Check to see if your Feed On Demand option is ON. Leaving this option ON when not using it can result in excessive battery usage.

How can I see the remaining battery level?
- Under Devices, look at your Feed Hub and you will see 2 battery readings – one for the Feed Level Detector battery level, and one for the motor battery.
How often is the battery level updated in the app?
- Feed Hub reports a new battery level at every check-in.
Why are there different battery level readings / Why are they different?
- The Feed Level Detector battery level refers to the 4 AA batteries that are installed in the sensor connected to the hopper lid. The Feed Level Detector requires batteries to update the feed level.
- The Motor Battery level refers to the 6V or 12V battery that runs the feeder kit and powers the Feed Hub Timer. The cellular timer and feeder motor require a battery to run the feeder and communicate information about the feeder to the app.
Can I get alerts when the level drops?
- Yes, you can enable Notifications and receive alerts when the battery level drops to a low or critical level.
