Pairing My Feed Level Detector

Your Feed Level Detector (FLD) must be paired with your timer so they can communicate. If your FLD is not connected/paired to your Feed Hub Timer, please continue reading for more information on how to ensure they are communicating.  If necessary, you will only need to perform the pairing process once.

Once paired, your Feed Level Detector will update your Feed Levels. After pairing, the Feed Levels update only during scheduled feeds. It does not update when powering your Feed Hub up, running test feeds, or On-Demand Feeds.

To pair your Feed Level Detector to your Timer:

1.  Remove one AA battery from the FLD.

2.  Turn off Timer power switch and remove alligator clip.

3.  Hold down the Test Button continuously on the timer.

4.  Without Releasing the Test Button. Reconnect the alligator clip then turn the power switch to ON

5.  Release the test button.

6.  Quickly re-insert the FLD AA battery.

7.  The FEED LEVEL DETECTOR LED should stop blinking when the FLD is paired, or if the pairing time interval runs out

8.  If the FLD has paired correctly the Timer should find the FLD and turn the FEED LEVEL DETECTOR LED solid green, like it normally would for a connected FLD during a check-in.
