Edge side panel?

Well I don't know why I'm just now seeing this but on the edge where the door latches there is a tiny hidden panel you can unscrew with 2 ports in it! What are these ports? What do they do? Why are they not listed in the operating manual? Can someone please tell me what it's for and why is it such a big secret?! Assuming that these ports are for hooking it up to the computer?

    The ports you are describing are used by our testing team for data collection. These ports are not designed for regular use and should not be attempted to be used as it may lead to issues. If you have any other questions or concerns please reach back out.
