  So I can change my device settings remotely, but can't remotely activate a picture to be taken? Am I missing something?

  Hello Tommy,

  The application does not have a way to force an image to be taken or have the unit check in on command. You can always tap the connect/status button once to have the cameras communicate with the servers. Test images can be taken by holding the connect/status button for 5 seconds.

  Hey Randy,

  Yes, the application and camera can have their setting changed at any time. Camera settings that are change will take effect once the device connects to the servers again. We do not have an option for a remote test image to be taken or to have the unit force a check in on command remotely.
