350LB Sled Feeder (SKU/Product #: MFG-15127)
If your feeder powers on but the spinner plate isn't turning.
Troubleshooting
- Ensure the spinner plate is securely seated on the motor shaft. A loose plate can wobble or fail to engage.
- Confirm the sled base is sitting level. An uneven base can cause feed to shift to one side of the hopper and bind the spinner plate.
- Confirm the battery is fully charged and connections are tight. Low voltage may power the display but not drive the motor.
- Open the varmint cage and inspect the spinner plate area for feed buildup, mud, or debris that could jam rotation.
- Remove the spinner plate, clean the shaft, reinstall, and verify it spins freely by hand before restoring power.
- Check that the motor speed in the timer menu is not set to 0. Navigate to your Feed Timer screen and confirm a run duration within the up to 60 seconds range.
- Confirm the varmint cage is not pressing against the spinner plate. A misaligned cage can physically block rotation.
- If the motor hums but does not spin, the motor may be seized due to moisture exposure. Contact Moultrie support if cleaning does not resolve it.
| TIP: You can also trigger a manual test feed from the Moultrie app (if paired) to confirm whether the spinner responds to a command versus the scheduled timer. |
