Having trouble connecting your feeder to the Moultrie app over Bluetooth?

Before You Start:

  • Download the Moultrie app and create an account before trying to pair -- an account is required before the feeder can be added via Bluetooth.
  • Enable Bluetooth in your phone's system settings, not just an in-app toggle -- the feeder won't appear if your phone's system Bluetooth is off.
  • Make sure the timer is powered on and the antenna is attached and facing toward you.

Feeder Not Appearing in the App

  1. Confirm Bluetooth is enabled in your phone's settings and the timer is powered on.
  2. Restart the Moultrie app.
  3. Power cycle the timer: disconnect power for 30 seconds, then reconnect.
  4. Move closer to the feeder -- Bluetooth range is up to 100 yards, but obstructions (buildings, dense trees, terrain) can shorten that.
  5. Face the timer's external antenna toward you and try pairing again.
NOTE: If the feeder still doesn't appear after a full power cycle and app restart, give us a call so we can check whether the timer has registered correctly.

Good to Know

  • The Moultrie app is not required to run the feeder, but it's recommended -- Bluetooth scheduling, on-demand feeds, and diagnostics all run through the app.
  • No subscription is required to control this feeder over Bluetooth through the app.
  • A cellular subscription is only required if you want to use Moultrie Connect to integrate this feeder with a compatible EDGE camera (EDGE 3, EDGE 3 Pro, EDGE 4, and EDGE 4 Pro).
  • Multiple users can control the same feeder as long as they're using the same Moultrie account.
  • App version 6.0 or later is required.

Removing the Feeder from the App

Open the Moultrie app, navigate to your device, and select "Remove Device." The feeder will no longer appear in your app and can be re-paired in the future if needed.
