How To Set Up
Follow the steps below to install your Power Mag III into a compatible trail camera.
- Charge the Power Mag III fully before first use.
- Connect the included USB-C cable to the Power Mag III and a charging block.
- Charge for 4–14 hours, or until the LED indicator is solid green.
- Open the battery tray on your compatible trail camera.
- Insert the Power Mag III into the battery tray as directed by your camera's quick start guide.
- Ensure the contacts are aligned, and the pack is fully seated before closing the tray.
- Close and secure the battery tray.
- Power on the camera and confirm the battery level in the Moultrie Mobile app.
LED Indicator Guide
Press the "Check Battery" button on the Power Mag III to check charge status:
- 4 LEDs (solid green): Fully charged (76–100%)
- 3 LEDs: 51–75% charge
- 2 LEDs: 26–50% charge
- 1 LED: Low charge (1–25%); recharge soon
- No LEDs: Fully depleted; charge immediately
How To Charge
- Connect the included USB-C cable to the Power Mag III's charging port.
- Connect the other end to a 5V/2A or higher charging block.
- A USB-C to USB-C cable with a compatible charging block is also supported.
- Charge for 4–14 hours, or until fully charged.
- Once fully charged, reinsert the battery pack into the camera.
