HP+ features are the same no matter how you get access. The difference is how your plan is billed and managed.
Three Ways to Get Hunt Planning Plus
There are three ways to access HP+ features. Choose the option that matches your current plan and preferences.
Option 1: Included with a Pro Series Plan
If you’re on a Pro Series plan, Hunt Planning Plus is already included.
What does this mean:
- No separate HP+ purchase is needed
- HP+ features are automatically available
- You won’t see an HP+ upgrade option
- You’re not billed separately for HP+

Option 2: Add HP+ on the Moultrie Website
Adding HP+ through the Moultrie website gives you the most flexibility and direct support.
Why choose the web option:
- Manage or cancel your plan directly in your Moultrie account
- Get help from Moultrie Customer Support for billing questions
- View all your Moultrie subscriptions in one place
Steps:
- Visit moultrie.com
- Sign in to your Moultrie account
- Go to Manage Account → Plans
- Select Hunt Planning Plus and complete checkout
Option 3: Add HP+ in the iOS App (Apple Purchase)
You can also add HP+ directly to the iOS app using Apple’s in-app purchase system.
What to know about Apple purchases:
- Billing, renewals, and cancellations are managed by Apple
- Subscription changes must be made through your Apple ID
- Moultrie cannot make billing changes for Apple-managed subscriptions
Steps:
- Open the Moultrie app
- Go to Account → Explore Hunt Planning+
- Choose Buy with Apple or Continue with Apple
- Confirm using your Apple ID

Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I already have Hunt Planning Plus?
You may already have access if you’re on a Pro Series plan, previously added HP+, or are signed into your Moultrie account on another device.
Can I have both Pro Series and a separate HP+ subscription?
No. If you’re on a Pro Series plan, HP+ is included, and a separate HP+ purchase isn’t needed.
Can Moultrie manage my subscription if I purchased through Apple?
No. Apple manages billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds for subscriptions purchased in the iOS app.
Can my Apple ID email be different from my Moultrie account email?
Yes. This is normal. Apple and Moultrie accounts are separate, and Moultrie does not see or store Apple ID details.
What happens when I cancel HP+?
Access remains active until the end of the current billing period, then HP+ features are removed.
