Moultrie recommends using Moultrie or Energizer branded batteries, either Alkaline or Lithium. Do not use rechargeable batteries, off-brand batteries, or batteries labeled “long-lasting”. Through extensive in-house testing, Moultrie Cameras perform better when using Energizer or Moultrie batteries.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, lithium, or rechargeable batteries.
- Always replace ALL the batteries at the same time.
- When the camera is not in use, please remove the batteries.
Pro Tips:
- Lithium batteries work better in colder temperatures.
- Lithium batteries will stay at full charge longer than standard batteries, but once they begin to decline they will deplete quickly.
