Q: How do I install Feed Hub Universal?
(Feed Hub Timer and Feed Level Detector Only)
A: Installation typically requires these steps, regardless of the brand of your feeder:

- Install the Feed Hub Timer
- Test Feed Hub

Q: What feeder kits are compatible with Feed Hub Universal?
A: Click www.moultriemoble.com/feedhub and scroll down for a list of compatible feeder kits.
Q: Why doesn’t it work with my Moultrie NXT feeder kit?
A: The NXT feeder kit is not compatible with Feed Hub at this time, due to some features that Feed Hub cannot support, like the Electric varmint guard.
Q: I’m using a motor or feeder kit on a barrel or bucket, but it’s not an official feeder hopper. Can I use Feed Hub with that?
A: Yes! You can install Feed Hub Universal on custom setups.
Q: How do I calibrate my feeder?
A: Moultrie Mobile-compatible hoppers will already be calibrated. You only need to select your hopper from the list via the Moultrie Mobile app.
Q: What If my hopper is not in the list of compatible hoppers?
A: If you are using a hopper not deemed as compatible you can still manually calibrate your hopper using the Moultrie Mobile app and FDL.
Q: Once I add feed to my feeder, how do I see the updated level in the Moultrie Mobile app?
A: You must press the test button on the timer or run the “Feed On Demand” function. Afterward, the level will update to the current level in the app. You can also wait until the next check-in from Feed Hub and the level will update at that time.
Q: Do I need to buy or provide any additional hardware or tools for installation?
A: Feed Hub requires 4 AA batteries and a 6V or 12V motor battery, which are not included. We also recommend these additional tools:
- Eye protection for installing/testing feeder operation
- A tape measure, if using a custom barrel or bucket setup
- Phillips head screwdriver, when installing in American Hunter or Ranch Series feeders

Q: Can I uninstall and reinstall Feed Hub Universal on another feeder kit of mine?
A: Yes, but you will need to recalibrate it before you install again. You can only do this with an active feed hub subscription:
- Go to Devices > and tap on your Feed Hub, then tap Settings.
- You’ll see your current hopper/feeder kit selection.
- To change this, tap Update.
- Proceed through the setup process to install it on a new feeder.
Q: Once I have installed Feed Hub, can I uninstall it and swap back to my original timer?
A: Once you have modified your feeder kit and removed the original timer, we cannot guarantee that the original timer will still function if you try to reinstall it.
