Moultrie Mobile's DELTA, BASE and EDGE Series cameras come with the ability to transmit videos to your account, with sound. Please take a minute to read more about requesting videos, or watch our short video below.
From The App:
1. Make sure you are set to take videos by selecting that option in your camera's settings.
2. Once selected your camera will need to connect again to accept those settings.
3. After that, the next time your camera connects it will upload a thumbnail image with a circled 'play' button visible in the top left. This icon indicates that this camera is set to video and there is a requestable video associated with this image.
4. Tap the picture to expand it, then tap the Video download option to request the video.
5. Once the request is made, your camera will need to connect again to receive the instructions and upload your video. Your video will contain a larger 'play' button. Tap to expand and watch your video. Please keep in mind, your video will replace the thumbnail image you requested it from.
6. If you are having trouble locating it, simply tap the Filter icon from the top of your gallery (the 3 lines), then search by Media > Video to show all the videos that have been uploaded.
From The Website:
1. From your gallery page, click to enlarge a thumbnail picture that says 'Video'. Once enlarged, select the Request Video option.
2. The next time your camera connects after your request is received, your video will be uploaded and available to view. Your video will be identified by the PLAY button that will appear on the picture you requested it from.
Pro Tips:
- This feature is only available with the EDGE, BASE, and DELTA model cameras.
- Do not request more than 3 videos at a time, or 5 hi-res pictures at a time.
- The videos and hi-res images will replace the original thumbnail photo in the gallery, so you may need to scroll down to find the original photo that has been converted.
- Videos must still be in the camera's internal memory in order to request them. If you are attempting to request an older video and it's not uploading, it may no longer be available in your internal memory.
- It can take up to 24 hours to receive a video depending on your settings.
