COMPATIBILITY
- Will my 3.4W Universal Solar Power Pack work with other brands?
With 6V and 12V outputs, your power pack offers versatility to accommodate a wide range of devices. It's compatible with all major camera and feeder brands.
- Do I need any other items to get started?
Your power pack will come with everything you need inside the box. This includes the weather and chew-resistant connection cable with 90-degree power jacks, charging cable, barrel jack adapter for certain camera brands, and an alligator clip should you want to power a feeder.
USAGE & CHARGING
- What is the best way to mount my Solar Power Pack?
Mounting is determined by the location, but facing your panel south is best, and the angle of the panel should match your latitude. Always ensure the jacks are facing down to prevent moisture or debris from entering the openings.
- Why is my charging time slowing down at the end of the charging cycle?
When charging your panel, the last 25% to reach full charge takes longer than the first 75%. Due to its design, this is expected behavior.
- How do I know if I should select the 6V or 12V option?
Always ensure you select whichever voltage matches the battery. If you are using your panel to charge your feeder kit and your kit uses a 6V battery, you will want to use the 6V option. For cellular trail cameras, you will need to select the 12V option.
- How often should I charge my Solar Power Pack?
Fully charge your power pack for 6 hours before placing it in the field. It is also recommended that you fully charge your power pack at least once every three months of non-use.
- Should I clean my Solar Power Pack?
We recommend cleaning your panel periodically with a damp cloth for best performance. Pollen and dust buildup can lower its efficiency.
